I have been interested in drawing and painting since I was very young. Entering my first art show in 1965 at 10 years old, I received a 'highly commended' award, which inspired me to further my techniques. Studying privately I received tuition from working artists in my younger years. With students of my own, I have also taught at the Victorian Artists Society, judged and opened various art exhibition, including, Glenroy Art Group, Kalkalo Art Show, Hobsons Bay Art Show, The Anglican Church of the Epiphany - Hoppers Crossing. Enjoying portraiture, I frequently perform portrait demonstrations for various art societies throughout Melbourne. In 2004 and 2008 I held solo exhibitions in the Cato Gallery at the Victorian Artists Society. Both were very rewarding and displayed 30 - 40 paintings. My work can be found in many private collections in Australia and overseas.
